| Descripció |
English: The town of Sinop as seen early in the morning from below the military installation on the peninsula just east of the town centre. The forest in the foreground contains a cemetery. The old town, where the peninsula is at its narrowest, used to be surrounded by a tall city wall, of which many parts remain standing. Some towers belonging to the city wall are clearly visible in this photo. Beyond the towers on the right side of the photo is the town beach, a popular place for people to spend the day swimming and relaxing. |
