Acapoeta tanganicae és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.
Morfologia
Els mascles poden assolir els 61 cm de longitud total.[3]
Distribució geogràfica
És un endemisme del llac Tanganyika (Àfrica).[3]
