Cyprinella formosa és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.
Morfologia
Els mascles poden assolir els 9 cm de longitud total.[4]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Mèxic, Nou Mèxic i Arizona.[4]
