Etelis coruscans és una espècie de peix de la família dels lutjànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

Alimentació

Menja peixets, calamars i crustacis.[6]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 90-400 m de fondària.[4][7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de l'Àfrica Oriental[6][8][9] fins a les Hawaii,[10][11] el sud del Japó[12] i Austràlia (Queensland i Nova Gal·les del Sud).[13][4][14][15][16][17][18][19]

Ús comercial

És molt apreciat per la qualitat de la seua carn[20] i es comercialitza fresc i congelat.[21]
