Farlowella és un gènere de peixos de la família dels loricàrids i de l'ordre dels siluriformes.[2]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Sud-amèrica: conques dels rius Amazones, Orinoco, Paranà i dels rius costaners de Guaiana.[3]
