Gadomus longifilis és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.

Als Estats Units és depredat per Merluccius capensis.[8]
Hàbitat
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 630-2165 m de fondària.[5]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba al Golf de Guinea, Mauritània, les Illes Canàries, Portugal, el Marroc, les Illes Açores, la costa est de Florida, l'Estret de Florida, el Golf de Mèxic, el Carib i les Guaianes.[9][5][10][11][12][13][14][15]
