El iMac G4 va ser un ordinador que va ser fabricat per Apple des de principis del 2002 fins a meitats del 2004. va reemplaçar el iMac G3. Aquest ordinador teniu un nou disseny en comparació amb els altres ordinadors. Aquest tenia 15 polzades LCD que estaven muntades damunt d'un braç ajustable sobre una semiesfera, una unitat òptica i una CPU de sisena generació (el PPC 74xx-series). Aquest ordinador LCD va ser conegut i venut com El Nou iMac durant el seu cicle de producció, mentre existia el sobrenom d'iMac de forma d'ou, va ser reanomenat a iMac G3 i va ser venut encara durant alguns mesos més. Després que el Nou iMac va deixar de vendre's, aquest va ser substituït i respectivament etiquetat iMac G4 per a distingir-ho del seu successor iMac G5.
