Limnotilapia dardennii és una espècie de peix de la família dels cíclids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.
Morfologia
Alimentació
És omnívor, tot i que, principalment, vegetarià: menja fitoplàncton, algues i d'altres plantes.[6]
Depredadors
És depredat per Perissodus microlepis[7] i Plecodus straeleni.[8][9]
Hàbitat
Viu a zones de clima tropical entre 23°C-26°C°C de temperatura.[10]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Àfrica: és una espècie de peix endèmica del llac Tanganyika.[4]
