Alimentació

Menja mol·luscs bivalves, crancs i d'altres invertebrats.[3]

Depredadors

És depredat per Perissodus microlepis[4] i Plecodus straeleni.[5][6]

Hàbitat

Viu a zones de clima tropical entre 24°C-27°C°C de temperatura.[7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àfrica: és una espècie de peix endèmica del llac Tanganyika.[2]
