Morfologia

Hàbitat

És un peix de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 80 m de fondària.[1][3]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de l'Àfrica Oriental fins a Fiji, les Illes Ryukyu[4] i Austràlia.[5][6][1][7][8][9][10]

Ús comercial

A Hong Kong és una espècie habitual dels mercats de peix viu.[11][12]
