Macolor macularis és una espècie de peix de la família dels lutjànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.
Morfologia
Alimentació
Menja, de nit, principalment zooplàncton.[3]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 3-90 m de fondària.[3][5]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des de les Illes Ryukyu fins a Austràlia[6] i Melanèsia.[3][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]
Ús comercial
És una espècie habitual als mercats de la seua àrea de distribució, principalment fresc.[3]
