Manhua

El Manhua (漫画/漫画pinyin: mànhuà) és el nom donat al còmic a la Xina i a Taiwan. A la resta del món, manhua és el nom usat per a designar al còmic xinès. Els manhuas fets a Hong Kong, són anomenats mangahk.

Possiblement a causa del seu grau de llibertat i expressió artístic internacional amb el Japó, Hong Kong, la República de Xina i Taiwan són els llocs de publicació de la majoria de manhua fins ara, sovint incloent traduccions xineses del manga japonès. Es diu Manhuajia (漫画家, mànhuàjiā) al dibuixant de manhua.

En la terminologia oficial és xines però es coneix per diversos noms.
