A les Filipines és depredat per Lagenodelphis hosei i Stenella longirostris.[1]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.[2]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de les Filipines fins a Austràlia[3] (incloent-hi Papua Nova Guinea).[4] També és present a les Hawaii[5] i el Mar de la Xina Meridional.[6][2][7][8][9][10][11][12]
