Nabònides

Nabònides (Nabû-nāʾid) fou l'últim rei de l'Imperi Neo-Babilònic, regnant entre 556-539 BCE.

Historiografia sobre Nabònides

Més que amb els altres, la nostra percepció del regnat de Nabònides ha estat fortament acolorit més tard, sobretot pels perses i els grecs, així com en la Bíblia hebrea. Com a resultat d'això, Nabònides sovint es descriu en termes molt negatius en els modern i contemporanis estudis. No obstant això, una acumulació de proves i una avaluació del material han causat opinions sobre Nabònides i els esdeveniments que van ocórrer durant el seu regnat que han alterat significativament en les últimes dècades.^[1]
