Paracobitis és un gènere de peixos de la família dels balitòrids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.^[2]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àsia (Turquia, l'Iran, l'Afganistan, la Xina -Guizhou, Sichuan i Guangxi- i el Vietnam, incloent-hi les conques dels rius Tigris i Eufrates).^[3]
