Sonic the Hedgehog (videojoc)
Sonic the Hedgehog (en català, "Sonic l'eriçó") és un joc de plataformes publicat el 23 de juny del 1991 a Amèrica del Nord per a la Sega Mega Drive. La versió europea va ser posada a la venda el juny del 1991 i la versió japonesa el 26 de juliol del mateix any. Aquest joc afegia l'element de la velocitat a la fórmula estàndard dels jocs de plataformes i introduí altres elements únics com els "loops", associats permanentment en la història dels videojocs a aquesta saga.
