Notoscopelus resplendens és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia

Reproducció

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[6]

Depredadors

És depredat per Lagenodelphis hosei (a les Filipines), Stenella attenuata[7] i Stenella longirostris (Filipines).[8][9]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 0-2.121 m de fondària.[4][10]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'Atlàntic,[11][12][13] l'Índic, el Pacífic[14][15] i el Mar de la Xina Meridional.[16][10][4][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27]
