Depredadors

Als Estats Units és depredat per Thunnus alalunga.[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 100-500 m de fondària.[1][6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al Pacífic nord: Japó[7][8] i des del sud de Califòrnia[9] fins a Washington.[10][1][6][11][12][2]
