Protomyctophum tenisoni és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia
Depredadors
A les Illes del Príncep Eduard és depredat per Arctocephalus gazella i Arctocephalus tropicalis,[6] i a l'Illa Crozet per Aptenodytes patagonicus.[7][8]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.[4]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a tots els oceans de l'hemisferi sud.[4][9][10]
