Schizothorax progastus és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.
Morfologia
Els mascles poden assolir els 50 cm de longitud total.[3][4]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a l'Índia, Nepal i Butan.[5][6][3]
