Àrvegil va ser l'onzè rei d'Arthedain, un dels regnes dels dúnedain del nord de la Terra Mitjana que va surgir de la divisió d'Àrnor, i que forma part del llegendari de J.R.R. Tolkien.

Era fill i hereu del rei Àrgeleb II d'Arthedain, i heredà el tron a la seva mort el 1670 de la Tercera Edat.

El seu regnat va estar marcat per la recuperació dels efectes de la Gran Plaga. La guerra contra el regne d'Àngmar va quedar estancada, ja que els enemics d'Arthedain també havien sofert sota els efectes de la gran plaga. De tota manera, les fronteres van deixar d'estar tan vigilades com ho havien estat en el passat.

Els hòbbits van establint-se a La Comarca, que els havia estat concedida durant el regnat del seu pare.

Àraphor va morir el 1743, i fou succeït pel seu fill Àrveleg II
