Màlvegil va ser el sisè rei d'Arthedain, un dels regnes dels dúnedain del nord de la Terra Mitjana que va surgir de la divisió d'Àrnor, i que forma part del llegendari de J.R.R. Tolkien.

Era fill i hereu del rei Celebríndor d'Arthedain i va pujar al tro després de la mort del seu pare l'any 1272 de la Tercera Edat.

Durant el seu regnar es va establir el regne d'Àngmar al nord de Rhudaur, amb el Rei bruixot d'Àngmar al capdavant. El mal va començar a aparèixer al nord i molts homes malvats i orcs s'aplegaren a banda i banda de les Muntanyes Boiroses. Des d'aleshores, Arthedain va haver d'estar en alerta permanent.

Màlvegil va morir l'any 1349 i va ser succeït pel seu fill Àrgeleb I
