Ostoher (pronunciat Òs-to-jer) va ser el setè rei de Góndor, el regne del sud de la Terra Mitjana fundat pels Numenoreans a l'exili que apareix a l'obra de J.R.R. Tolkien.

Era el fill i hereu d'Anàrdil, i a la mort del seu pare l'any 411 de la Tercera Edat va succeïr-lo al tro.

El seu nom significa "Senyor de la Fortalesa" en quenya. Amb tota probabilitat fou coronat amb aquest nom degut als seus esforços en reconstruïr i millorar les defenses del regne. Va fortificar Minas Anor i la va convertir en la residència d'estiu dels monarques.

Durant el seu regne els orientalencs van iniciar els seus atacs contra Góndor. Va enviar el seu fill Tarostar al capdavant de l'exèrcit que acabà obtenint la victòria i expulsant l'enemic del Regne del Sud.

El mateix Tarostar, que es feu coronar com a Romendacil, va succeïr-lo a la seva mort l'any 492.
