Ègalmoth va ser el divuitè senescal regent de Góndor, el poderós regne de la Terra Mitjana en la ficció literària de J.R.R. Tolkien.

Era fill de Morwen, filla del senescal Belécthor I. Nascut el 2626 de la Tercera Edat, va succeir al càrrec al seu cosí Ecthèlion I quan aquest morí sense descendència, en el que era la segona ocasió en què es trencava la successió masculina directa a la línea dels senescals de la casa de Hurin.

Sota la seva regència, els atacs dels corsaris d'Úmbar van augmentar d'intensitat. Els orcs de Mórdor també amenaçaven les fronteres, i per això quan Ègalmoth rebé una demanda d'ajuda del rei Deor de Ròhan impotent davant l'ocupació d'Ísengard per part dels terrafoscans, no hi podé enviar ajuda.

Fou succeït pel seu fill Beren.
