Pel rei de Góndolin, vegeu Turgon.

Turgon va ser el vint-i-quatrè senescal regent de Góndor, el poderós regne de la Terra Mitjana en la ficció literària de J.R.R. Tolkien.

Nasquè el 2855 de la Tercera Edat, i succeí el seu pare Turin II el 2914 a l'edat de 64 anys.

Durant el seu govern, Sàuron va ser expulsat de Dol Gúldur i es refugià a Mórdor, mentre que al nord el mag Sàruman es convertia secretament en traïdor a Góndor i s'aliava amb el Senyor Fosc. Turgon no va ser capaç d'impedir-ho ni preveure'n les conseqüències.

A la seva cort hi visquè l'hereu del tron de Ròhan, Thenguel fill de Fengel. Allí coneguè a Morwen de Lossàrnach, amb qui s'acabaria casant i sent pare del futur rei Théoden.

Morí el 2953 als 98 anys, i fou succeït pel seu fill Ecthèlion II.
